Content
Active substance: nalbuphine hydrochloride; 1 ml of solution contains nalbuphine hydrochloride dihydrate in terms of nalbuphine hydrochloride anhydrous 10 mg or 20 mg;
Excipients: sodium metabisulfite (E 223), sodium citrate, sodium chloride, anhydrous citric acid, dilute hydrochloric acid, water for injections (10 mg/ml); sodium metabisulfite (E 223), sodium citrate, anhydrous citric acid, diluted hydrochloric acid, water for injections (20 mg/ml).

Medicinal form
Solution for injections. Main physicochemical properties: transparent colorless or almost colorless solution.

Indications
Pain syndrome of strong and medium intensity; as an additional means during anesthesia, to reduce pain in the pre- and post-operative period, analgesia during childbirth.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to nalbuphine hydrochloride or to any of the ingredients of the drug. The medicine should not be used in case of respiratory depression or severe depression of the central nervous system, increased intracranial pressure, head injury, acute alcohol intoxication, alcoholic psychosis. Epileptic syndrome; acute surgical diseases of the abdominal organs (before diagnosis); operative interventions on the hepatobiliary system (possible spasm of the sphincter of Oddi); drug dependence on morphine-like drugs (morphine, promedol, fentanyl) – the possibility of developing a withdrawal syndrome; diarrhea against the background of pseudomembranous colitis caused by cephalosporins, lincosamines, penicillins; toxic dyspepsia.

Method of administration and dosage
Nalbuphine injections are prescribed for subcutaneous, intravenous and intramuscular administration.
